10 years ago today (July 13, 2001)

I took a flight to US for my Ph.D. study on July 13, 2001. I arrived at the College Station airport in Texas. Feeling was very different than when I came here for business.

It was a brave decision to change where I had been and where I am now, which I never dreamed of.

I reflected back those years and tears come out from thankfulness. I may write this down on my journal. First time, I thought I would go back after my study and therefore promised to US embassy when I had a Visa interview. I didn't keep my promise. I decided to stay and got a job here in California which was completely out of my plan. I had this idea that I would go back where I belong to. Now I have a question where I belong to.
